Hangcha’s Environmentally Friendly Forklifts
1. No Harmful Emissions:
Lithium-ion batteries do not release harmful emissions into the environment as fossil fuel-powered forklifts do. This makes them safe to use indoors.
Propane is a relatively clean-burning fuel that doesn't emit wastes such as sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, or methane. However, it does emit low levels of carbon dioxide. It can be hazardous if you breathe it in or swallow it as it will take the place of oxygen in your lungs, making it difficult to breathe.
Electric forklifts on the other hand do not have any harmful emissions, so they are completely safe to use indoors.
2. Longer Lifespan:
Hangcha lithium batteries can last up to twice as long as a lead acid battery
Lithium-ion forklifts have twice the service life as compared to lead-acid powered electric forklifts. Lead-acid batteries typically last between 1,000 and 1,500 cycles. That means that if you charge your forklift once a day, then your battery will last 1,000 to 1,500 days.
Lithium-ion forklifts manufactured by Hangcha can last up to 20,000 hours, so if you use it 8 hours a day it will last 2,500 days.
Hangcha’s lithium-ion battery packs are designed to last a long time. Because of this, Hangcha offers up to a 10-year or 20,000-hour warranty on their Lithium-Ion Phosphate (LiPO4) battery packs.
In addition, the battery packs will retain at least 80% residual capacity over 4,000 full charges.

Lithium batteries are lead-free making them environmentally friendly forklifts
Lithium batteries don't contain acid. The acid in a lead-acid battery is made up of both sulfuric acid and lead. Both of these substances can be harmful to the environment as they can contaminate groundwater if the battery has not been properly disposed of. In addition, sulfuric acid is highly corrosive and lead can cause adverse health effects, especially in children.
4. Constant Voltage Level During Discharge:
Lithium-ion batteries keep a constant voltage level during the entire discharge cycle. This means that you can save as much as 50% in energy costs compared to lead-acid batteries further adding to the fact that they are environmentally friendly forklifts.

7. Faster Charging Speeds:
Hangcha’s lithium batteries can charge in only 2 hours
Lithium-ion forklift batteries can be fully charged in as little as 2 hours and don't need to cool down after charging which again means further energy savings.
It can take 8 to 10 hours to charge a lead-acid battery plus another 8 hours to cool down. If you run consecutive shifts, you will probably need to purchase extra lead-acid batteries for each forklift to avoid downtime.
8. More Efficient Charging:
Not only do Hangcha batteries charge faster than lead-acid, but they are also substantially more efficient when charging and discharging. In addition, they are completely recyclable adding to their environmental friendliness.
9. Never Need Watering:
You don’t have to water lithium-ion batteries
Lithium batteries never need watering so you won’t be using as much water or spending time on this maintenance task. However, if you have a lead-acid battery, forklift, you need to keep the right amount of water in it for it to work at its full capacity.
10. No Equalization Charging:
Lithium batteries do not need equalization charging. Most lead-acid batteries do. Equalization overcharges your battery to correct some of the cells which may only be holding a half-charge.
To do this you need to charge your battery for an additional 3 or more hours at a low stream of power which uses even more energy. Your battery will also need additional cooling time after the equalization charging.
No equalization charging adds up to more energy savings.
11. Quieter:
Electric forklifts are extremely quiet when running, unlike fossil fuel engine forklifts which are extremely loud especially in indoor applications. Therefore, using electric forklifts mean less noise pollution.
