1. LPG Forklift Engines
The Hangcha forklift engine meets North American emission standards
Hangcha's XF Series pneumatic tire forklifts are equipped with GCT K21/25 LPG (liquefied petroleum gas also known as propane) engines.
Both the GCT K21 and GCT K25 engines are made by Nissan and are two of the most popular forklift engines around. These engines are only used in forklifts.
GCT K21:
The K21 is a 2.0-litre liquid-propane gas or gasoline-powered motor with 4 cylinders. It is used in forklifts that have a capacity of 2,500 lbs or lower.
GCT K25:
The K25 is used in heavier-duty models and has a 2.5-litre engine. It is a high-power and high-torque engine that will give you excellent fuel economy.
Both the GCT K21 and K25 engines comply with North American EPA emissions standards, Tier 2.
Although they meet these environmentally-friendly standards, that doesn't mean that they are short on power. These heavy-duty forklifts have all the power and torque you need to get the job done.
In addition, this type of Hangcha forklift engine is also electronically controlled to increase your fuel economy and give you a lift truck that is incredibly reliable.

2. Diesel Engines
The diesel Hangcha forklift engine is powerful and reliable.
Here are two of the diesel forklift engines that Hangcha uses.
Kubota V2607:
Hangcha's XF Series Pneumatic Tire diesel forklifts feature the Kubota V2607 diesel engine. This incredibly powerful Kubota diesel engine is Tier 4F compliant.
Tier 4 refers to engines that are designed to significantly decrease emissions in off-highway equipment such as forklifts and bring them up to the standards of highway trucks and buses.
The engine uses common rail fuel systems, diesel oxidation catalysts (DOC), and diesel particulate filters (DPF) to meet Tier 4F compliance. This engine helps you get the maximum efficiency and reliability possible in a diesel forklift.
DEUTZ:
The Hangcha 4-wheel drive rough terrain forklift is equipped with a DEUTZ engine. This 3.6-litre engine is Tier4F-compliant and produces its peak power (74.3hp) and torque (390Nm) at engine speeds as low as 1300rpm giving you great responsiveness.

Lithium-powered forklifts will give you a lower total cost of ownership over Internal Combustion or lead-acid electric forklifts because of the following:

Hangcha's Lithium batteries Last Longer:
Lithium-ion forklift batteries manufactured by Hangcha can last up to 20,000 hours or 10 years, so if you use your forklift 8 hours a day, it will last about 2,500 days! And they come with a 3, 5, or 10-year Battery warranty depending on the model.
Lead-acid batteries, on the other hand, typically last between 1,000 to 1,500 cycles. That means that if you charge your forklift once a day, then your battery will last 1,000 to 1,500 days.
No Equalization Charging:
Lithium-ion forklift batteries do not need equalization charging, unlike most lead-acid batteries. Equalization charging can take an additional 3 or more hours at a low stream of power plus your additional cooling time.

Lithium-ion forklift batteries keep a constant voltage level during the entire discharge cycle. This means that you can save as much as 50% in energy costs compared to lead-acid batteries.

Because of Hangcha's electrical heating element, their lithium-ion forklifts can run in both hot and cold applications. When compared to a lead-acid powered forklift, lithium-ion batteries can heat up to 32 degrees F in one-third of the time it would take a lead-acid battery.
Environmentally Friendly:
Lithium-ion batteries do not release harmful emissions into the environment like IC forklifts do so you can safely use them indoors. They are more energy efficient when charging and discharging and they are completely recyclable.
